I want to encourage you to remember the true reason for this season, and that it’s not about the Easter bunny or the Easter eggs and baskets with their wonderful treats. Although some research seem to indicate that some of these items seems to symbolize new life or new beginnings, it’s really about the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior! I want to encourage you to grow deeper in your faith and in your spiritual journey because when it’s all said and done, it’s what we do for Christ and what we allow Him to do through us that will matter and have eternal value. It’s about whether or not we allow Him to revive us individually in our heart and how we respond to Him. I also want to encourage you to pray for our nation and our leaders that they will allow God to revive them again and give them a heart of compassion for humanity.
